My adventures learning about and designing online training objects 2015-2016

I've decided to use this blog to explain my processes in designing online courses for our colleagues in the field.  These will be mainly focused on report writing initially.

1.  Training colleagues.  Sept 2015 - ongoing
To start the process, I am in the process of training two other consultant colleagues, so that I can have back up and assistance when I go live.  I need an assistant for the webinars, and I will need markers of assignments when we multiply our student body.
So far I have trained Fiona and am training Kieran.

2.   Training programmes to upskill myself - Sept 2015  ongoing
I started a module on the MA in Online and Distance Education through Open University.  Specifically, module H818 The Networked Practitioner.

This course involves developing a project, presenting it at an online conference, and associated assignments.

My poster for this project is here.
My presentation is here on YouTube:

3.  An online training course delivered by https://ecampus.itcilo.org/ in  Turin.
This 8-week course will help me design my online report writing course.
Future blog posts will describe the step by step process to do this.
